  3. an art form. Every art form we have, it turns out, 
  4. used to be a clich√©. Horses are now an art form, 
  5. they‚Äôre an aesthetic activity. They used to be just 
  6. everyday. Film is now an aesthetic activity. It used 
  7. to be something you‚Äôd send the kids off to as a 
  8. babysitter on a Saturday afternoon. Film used to 
  9. be deprecated and people took large moral 
  10. exception to them. ‚ÄúOh, the quality of films is 
  11. really low. You just get trash. You get these James 
  12. Cagney things and Victor Mature, war movies. 
  13. Nothing but the lowest kitch and garbage in films.‚Äù 
  14. When TV came along suddenly films looked good
